There was a full house at 102 (Aberdeen Airport) Squadron’s Afternoon Tea fundraiser at The Bankhead Inn on Saturday.
Over five hundred pounds was raised which will help fund a new banner for the Dyce based Air Training Corps. Event Organiser Jackie Burnett said:
“Thank you so much to all the people who came to Saturday’s cocktail tea party and for making it a lovely and successful afternoon!”
“I’ve always said that the Air cadets are Dyce’s best kept secret, but it’s open to anyone in S2 up to age 18.
They meet twice a week at the base on Pitmedden Road and are always looking for new recruits.”
Attendees were entertained by taking part in a Movie quiz, Irish bingo and Play your cards right.
The Air cadets will be attending Dyce Gala Day on 25 June – come along to find out more.
